Stay terms.

Scope

These terms apply to stays at every property operated under Yutori Living. Any more specific written term in a quotation or booking confirmation controls for that booking.

Website information

This website introduces Yutori Living and its properties. Images and descriptions are illustrative of each property and its surroundings. Current availability, inclusions, room arrangements, and the complete price are confirmed personally in your quote.

Reservation requests

Sending dates or an enquiry does not reserve a room. A stay is confirmed only after Yutori Living accepts the booking and verifies the required advance payment.

Payment

The quotation states the advance required to confirm a stay and the balance due. A reservation is confirmed only after Yutori Living verifies the required advance. Payment of the advance confirms acceptance of these terms and the terms stated in the quotation.

Cancellation and refunds

For regular bookings, cancellation refunds are calculated against the required advance:

• 30 days or more before check-in: 100% refund of the required advance.
• 15 to 29 days before check-in: 50% refund of the required advance.
• 7 to 14 days before check-in: 25% refund of the required advance.
• 0 to 6 days before check-in: no refund.

No refund is due for a no-show or for unused rooms, meals or nights following an early departure.

Rescheduling

One rescheduling request may be made at least 15 days before check-in. A change is subject to availability and the rates applicable to the new dates, and the rescheduled stay must take place within six months of the original check-in date. A rescheduled booking cannot be cancelled or rescheduled again. If the new stay costs less, no cash refund is due, although Yutori Living may offer a reasonable service adjustment at its discretion.

Peak and special dates

Stricter cancellation or rescheduling terms may apply to peak-season, festival or other special dates when clearly stated in the quotation. Where the quotation states that the advance is non-refundable, any credit or date change is at Yutori Living's discretion.

How refunds are handled

Approved refunds are initiated within seven business days to the original payment method. The time taken to appear may depend on the bank or payment provider. Actual non-recoverable transaction charges may be deducted only where lawful. Yutori Living does not add a percentage processing fee.

Cancellation by Yutori Living and access disruption

If Yutori Living cancels a stay, or cannot host safely because the property is officially inaccessible, the guest may choose a full refund of amounts received or an alternative available date. Yutori Living's liability is limited to amounts received for the booking. If the property remains open but a guest cannot travel, the normal cancellation terms apply, subject to any written exception offered by Yutori Living.

The character of the stay

Yutori-Tso is a quiet homestay for rest, nature and unhurried time. It is not a party venue. Please consider this before booking, especially when travelling as a group.

House rules

• Keep voices, music and devices low at all times. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am.
• Loud parties, DJs, speakers, shouting and disruptive gatherings are not permitted.
• Responsible, moderate alcohol consumption is permitted by adults, but drunken, aggressive or unsafe behaviour is not.
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside rooms or indoor shared spaces. Use only a place specifically indicated by the host and dispose of waste safely.
• Only registered guests may stay overnight. Day visitors require the host's prior approval.
• Do not feed, chase, handle or disturb birds or other wildlife. Avoid playback calls, flash and intrusive photography around nests.
• Take reasonable care of rooms, furnishings, plants and the surrounding landscape. Guests may be charged for damage, exceptional cleaning or missing items.
• Children must be supervised, particularly on balconies, stairs, roads and outdoor paths.
• Follow the host's safety instructions and local law. Illegal drugs, weapons and unlawful activity are prohibited.
• Serious or repeated breaches may lead to the stay ending early without refund, subject to applicable law.

Arrival, departure and occupancy

Check-in and check-out times, the agreed number of guests, room allocation, meals, heating, pets and any accessibility needs are confirmed in the individual quote. Please tell us before arrival if your plans or party size change.

Guest responsibilities

Guests must provide accurate booking details, follow lawful instructions and these house rules, and take reasonable care of the property, neighbours and natural surroundings. The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring everyone in the group understands the rules.

Guest reviews

Reviews are considered before publication. Permission to publish does not guarantee publication. Yutori Living may shorten a review for clarity without changing its meaning, decline it, remove it, and publish a response. Private notes and guest email addresses are not published.
