Yutori-Tso / Birding
Wake up where the birds already are.
Forest edge, garden, bamboo and a quiet hillside meet around Yutori-Tso. You do not have to travel far for the first sighting of the day.
A stay for patient eyes
Let the morning come to you.
Step out early, listen before you walk, and watch the edges of the garden and forest. Back at the house, breakfast and a warm cup are close by. The pace suits beginners, photographers and experienced birders who prefer time in one habitat over a hurried checklist.

Seen around us
Some of our hillside neighbours.
These birds were photographed in the surrounding landscape. Sightings vary with weather, season and luck; we never promise a particular species.

Forest walks
Follow the quieter path.
Mist settles between the trees, orchids appear at the forest edge, and every bend offers another place to pause and listen. The walks around the homestay are best enjoyed slowly, with sturdy shoes and respect for the weather, wildlife and local paths.
Ask us about current path conditions before setting out. Routes are informal and weather-dependent; walks are self-guided unless a guide has been arranged separately.
